Historic Lobby Refresh
The classic Moana Surfrider lobby will receive a breathtaking refresh that stays true to its colonial-style Victorian architecture. The front desk area will also be remodeled, opting for a bright, spacious modern design that helps welcome guests to the resort.

The Tower Wing: Introducing Modern Beach Luxury
As the newest wing of the resort, the Tower features the most highly coveted and spacious rooms of the hotel, with many offering ocean view, oceanfront and Leahi (Diamond Head) views.

The Tower One Bedroom Ocean View Suites offer luxurious accommodations with breathtaking views of the ocean and beach. The Living Room and multiple lanais offer a variety of opportunities for indoor-outdoor living.

The Banyan Wing: Restoration of a Classic
As the original wing of the resort, the Banyan Wing is located at the heart of the hotel. Due to its historic nature, each Banyan Wing room is unique in layout.

The renovation includes elegantly streamlined furniture allowing for more spacious living, a thoughtfully designed work area, and new flooring.
Banyan Wing Suites
The wing’s renovation thoughtfully honors the original 1901 architectural details, including distinct window arches. Decorative accents across both rooms and suites are inspired by the ocean, with a color palette of whitewashed sand, pops of coral, and soothing blue and grey.

Diamond Wing: Contemporary Beach Loft Living
Originally opened as the Surfrider Hotel in 1952, to the east of the Banyan Wing, the Diamond Wing features of oceanfront and Waikiki City View rooms and suites.
Diamond Wing Room & Suites
The wing’s design is inspired by Waikiki’s surf culture, with whitewashed interiors, shiplap accents, a palette of vibrant colors, and contemporary artwork.
Diamond Wing Guest Rooms
The Diamond Wing’s oceanfront rooms exclusively feature the uniquely beloved juliet balcony and rocking chair duos.
